This early days image of Sprintel, an automated telephone processing system equipped with 4 audio loop cassette recorders that delivered voice announcements in 40 languages, while add'l 4 cassettes recorded parents' responses for the 135 Los Angeles Unified School District's middle/high schools, encapsulates the transformative journey of incredible innovations, starting with notifying parents of 'Absent' children, to solutions for emergency dispatching, to the revolutionary birth of CallerID and inbound/outbound intelligent Call Center solutions.
